Petrol prices in Belarus 6-8% up
MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – Prices for oil products sold by Belneftekhim through filling stations were raised by 6-8% on 12 May 2010, the Belneftekhim press service told BelTA.
New sale and retail prices for oil products have been revised following a decision of the commission for the import of energy resources under the Council of Ministers of Belarus. The price for one liter of Normal-80 petrol reached Br2250, AI-92 petrol – Br2870, AI-95 petrol – Br3240, diesel – Br2580, bio-diesel – Br2220.
The price revision was made due to an increased cost of the duty-free oil delivered to the Belarusian oil refineries from the Russian Federation. The price for the Russian oil purchased by the Belarusian oil refineries in April 2010 was 27.9% higher of that in February 2010, the Belneftekhim noted.
